Half Marathon

Este Domingo, 20 de Março, vai-se realizar mais uma Maratona de Lisboa, a 21ª . Esta é uma das provas de Atletismo mais emblemáticas em Portugal, não só pelos atletas internacionais que atrai mas também pelas milhares de pessoas que participam, fazendo deste dia uma grande festa J Prevê-se um dia de sol, e para não estragar esta festa temos de ter em atenção ao tipo de roupa que levamos para fazer uma prova deste gabarito J

This Sunday, March 20, will take place the 21th Lisbon Marathon. This is one of the most emblematic athletic races in Portugal, not only because attracts international athletes but also due to the thousands of people who participate, making this day a great party:) It is expected a sunny day, and to don’t spoil this party we must aware about the kind of clothes that we take to a big event like this.

O calçado deve ser muito confortável, de preferência próprio para corrida ou caminhada. Não optem por utilizar os ténis novos pois o resultado pode ser desastroso… 

Footwear must be comfortable, preferably suitable for running or walking. Do not wear new tennis because the result can be disastrous ...

A roupa deve ser leve, confortável e fresca. Uma vez que a prova começa cedo e está mais fresquinho, optem por levar várias camadas pois ao longo da prova terão sempre hipótese de se irem adaptando à temperatura…

Para quem não sabe, se optarem por levar roupa mais antiga e forem largando ao longo do percurso a organização da prova recolhe essas peças e entrega a Instituições de Solidariedade Social.

Clothes should be lightweight, comfortable and fresh. The race starts early and normally the weather is fresher, so wear several layers of clothes, this will permit  adapting better to temperature ...

For those who don´t know, if you choose to bring old clothes, you can drop it along the way  and the race organization collects it  and delivers to Charity Institutions.

Hoje tive um presente giríssimo e não podia deixar de partilhar com vocês :)

A minha amiga Carlota ofereceu-me uma t-shirt fantástica de uma campanha que a Pimkie está a fazer e que eu achei um Must! Até dia 20 de Março todas as t-shirts desta campanha são a menos de 5€ e a piada é que os desenhos e as palavras são sobre blog's e bloger's, não acham Giríssimo?? Aproveitem, procurem a vossa, pois certamente vão encontrar uma que se identifica com o vosso blog ou com o blog que vocês mais Gostam… Eu por exemplo, associei logo as t-shirts a alguns bloggers:) Concordam?

Today I received a really funny gift and couldn’t help share it with you:) My friend Carlota gave me a fantastic t-shirt from a campaign that Pimkie is doing, and I found it great! Until March 20 all t-shirts from this campaign are less than 5 € and the designs and words are about blogs and blogger’s. Don’t you think this is really funny? Enjoy and look for your t-shirt, I´m sure you will find one that you can identify with your blog, or with the blog that you like best ... I immediately associated the t-shirts to a few bloggers:) Do you agree?

Big and Biggest

 

Imagino o quanto ser difícil ter uma curvas mais acentuadas ou umas gordinhas mais salientes. Compreendo a dificuldade que estas pessoas têm em vestir-se nas lojas "ditas" básicas, porque até eu que considero ter um corpo "normal" por vezes tenho dificuldades, pois os números ou são desfasados, pequenos ou apertados o que muitas vezes nos leva ao desânimo.

Felizmente o mercado começa a abrir os seus horizontes e já começa a haver lojas específicas para corpos diferentes como é o caso da marca Elena Miro que na minha opinião está com uma colecção Primavera/Verão 2011 giríssima.

No entanto, gostaria de deixar o meu conselho para pessoas gordinhas, primeiro é que não desistam de perder peso, não por uma questão de estética nem pelos outros, mas por vocês mesmas e pela vossa saúde, façam dieta e desporto e tenham muita força, pois com os resultados sentirão o quanto é compensador :)

Escolham muito bem a roupa que combina com o vosso corpo evitem andar com roupa demasiado apertada pois notar-se-á ainda mais as formas, utilizem sapatos confortáveis, altos mas compensados, sentirão que o esforço não é tão grande, por último olhem-se ao espelho e sintam-se bonitas porque os outros também vos vão ver dessa forma...

 

 

I  imagine how difficult it must be to have more pronounced curves or some salient chubby. I understand the difficulties that these persons have to dress in "basic stores". Even for me, that consider myself has a person with a normal body, sometimes I feel difficulty because the numbers are either large, or small and tight, which often leads to discouragement.

Fortunately the market starts to open the horizons and begin to have separate stores for different bodies such as Elena Miro brand, which in my opinion has a great Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

However, I leave my advice for chubby people:  first  - not give up losing weight, not for aesthetics reasons or for other people but for yourself and for your health – do a diet, do sport and have great strength, because you will feel how rewarding is when you´ll see the results:)

After this first step, choose clothes that suits your body and avoid clothes to tight, because your “chubby body” will be even more salient with this kind of clothes, use comfortable shoes, high but compensated (you will feel less effort in this kind of shoes). Finally look yourself in the mirror and feel beautiful, because others also will see the same...

Dresses and…Dresses

Estou numa fase em que só me apetece usar vestidos e mais vestidos. Não sei se é deste tempo desanimador que não é frio nem quente, em que o enjoo pelas roupas de inverno é tão grande, e as de Verão são demasiado frescas, opto por vestidos. São práticos, elegantes que com pormenores acabam por fazer modelitos completamente diferentes. Estes Outfits tem sido as minhas inspirações dos últimos dias….

I'm at a stage where I just want to wear dresses and more dresses. I don´t  know if it is because of this disappointing weather, that is not cold, neither hot, or if is because I’m so full up from winter clothes, and summer clothes are too fresh, then I´m wearing dresses. They are practical, have stylish details and end up doing completely different outfits. These outfits have been my inspiration in the last few days ....

A primeira vez que vos falei desta marca foi em Janeiro de 2011, desde aí fiquei fã e, a avaliar pelos comentários ao post, acho que não fui a única! Certamente que não vamos ficar desiludidos pois a campanha de Primavera/Verão 2011 está fantástica. Adorei os modelitos, as cores, enfim...Tudo :) e vocês Gostam?
